The dragonkin of Ashenfall reveled in power, gaining elemental mastery from the land's strange anima. Although their kind tended to ignore magic in favour of alchemy and science, the dragonkin of Ashenfall enjoyed their time as sorcerer kings.

They wore robes that empowered their magic, using alchemical techniques to create cloth that resisted their elemental powers. Fire would not burn so easily. Cold would not damage the threads. Lightning could be turned aside with a flick of a cloak. Though these techniques are lost to time, the echoes of their powerful resistance remain.

Although dragonkin tend to favour form over fashion, they stitched these robes with undeniable regal zeal. They were more elaborate than necessary, more stylish than required, feeding into the egos of the wearer.

Rasthin, it is said, was particularly fond of stitching elaborate filigree into her robes. Made from threads woven with precious metals and gemstones, her robes would sparkle and glitter as she flew across the realm. When she brought forward her flames, everyone marvelled.

Glittering against the sky, she inspired as much devotion as fear in her subjects.
