About the codex.
Dragonwilds Codex is an unofficial reference for RuneScape: Dragonwilds — an item database, crafting calculator, interactive map, skill planner, bestiary and vault guide, built to be the fastest and most trustworthy way to look something up mid-game.
Who runs it
The codex is an independent fan project, built and maintained by a solo developer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Jagex Ltd. A direct contact route is being set up and will appear here.
Data methodology
Everything on this site that states a number — item stats, recipe quantities, drop rarities, XP rates, marker coordinates — is a game fact drawn from official patch notes and cross-checked against the official community wiki's structured data. We do not copy the wiki's written articles; page copy here is our own, and every data surface names the patch it was verified against:

- Nightly re-verification. An automated pipeline re-checks every source each night and republishes the site when anything changed — after a game patch, the whole codex re-verifies itself within 48 hours.
- Honest gaps. When something isn't documented upstream yet (an uncharted XP rate, an unlisted vault reward), the page says so rather than guessing. Nothing here is invented.
- Game imagery. Item icons, portraits, map tiles and key art are © Jagex Ltd, used under theJagex Fan Content Policywith attribution. Every mirrored asset is recorded in a manifest so it can be removed on request.
- Affiliate honesty. If a link earns us a commission (server hosting), it is labelled where it appears, and commissions never influence the data shown.
Spotted an error?
Data errors usually trace to the upstream source and fix themselves within a day of the community wiki correcting them — the nightly refresh picks corrections up automatically.
