One of the most challenging dishes to prepare on Ashenfall is the smoked infernal eel. The whole process is an olfactory gauntlet. You are bombarded with such a succession of smells, some wonderful, some horrifying, that it can feel like sprinting through the back alleys of Varrock. Some chefs from the Cook's Guild have compared it to 'seeing one's life flash before their eyes'. Except with noses.

Complete the gauntlet, however, and the bounty is worth it. Many people call smoked infernal eel a 'delicacy' but the term doesn't really suit. Delicacy is derived from 'delicate', after all. The taste is more like a salt-chinchompa exploding under your tongue.
