A cousin to the better-known , popular on the Gielinor mainland. These leggings were created by Shana, a Bramblemead villager who hated the cold. While the boots were functional, and useful, making it easier to carry things round the village, she always felt the winds chill no matter what she wore.
Her solution was simple. Since enchantment created an excess of energy, at least when she did it – she was never going to become a wizard – she laced the leggings with the lightness charm.
The effect was twofold. Firstly, she could carry things around the town as easily as if she were wearing the boots. Secondly, the enchantment kept her legs nice and warm.
Fortunately, the designs for these leggings improved over the years, removing the overheating problem that Shana had been so fond of. Although she was doubtless less fond of it after her house caught fire.
Progress demands sacrifice.
