They can be baked, roasted over a fire to create a delectable fluffy centre encased within a crisp and tasty core. Or they can be combined with butter and milk to craft a small mountain of creamy extravagance that can serve both as meal and sculpture material.
These seeds, small and unremarkable, can be transformed into meals of such exquisite flavour that they can end wars. Or, as was the case of the feud between the Sherrydoe and Nab families, start one - that ended up in a house burning to the ground, three failed marriages and a cow being briefly elected mayor. It's best not to ask.
