Perhaps it’s a little strange to wear the skin of your enemy, but who am I to judge? The Kalphite are certainly an imposing bunch and donning armour comprising of the most resilient parts of them certainly hits that survival game vibe, even if it is a little grim.

Once you hollow out the squishy parts of the Kalphite and rearrange the plates to better fit the human form, the carapace helmet is more comfortable than it might first seem.

Seen through the eyes of the Kalphite the world is a fractured place. Multifaceted eyes see the world in strange and wonderful ways, their vision split among multiple different views, yet never obsessing over a singular image. You lose the finest details to focus on the bigger picture, a trait perhaps more of us need in our lives.
