Garou Highborn's Cloak
A cloak worn by garou nobility.
Journal
Highborn garou are better than their lowborn kin, or so it is claimed. It is true that the highborn are stronger and capable of wielding magic denied to the lowborn, yet what makes them great is their will to rule.
Garou claim power not through birthright, but by proving their strength over all rivals. A garou leader must be ready to face all challenges, because to refuse even one is a sign of weakness.
When a challenge is made the two garou battle to the death. Mercy is a concept alien to them, once fangs are bared then blood must be spilled.
Thanes are garou wanting to be kings. Each day they push themselves further, to be ready for the challenge that will see them burn moon-bright as king, or fade away as a forgotten challenge. All or nothing, the garou way.
Even after turning from the moon-goddess Lougrim, becoming servants of the High Queen Kuldra, the garou continue their ancient rituals. Might, always proving right.
