Strange magics have transformed the head of a tyrant into a mystical adornment to this powerful shield. It is still strong, still durable and resists the fury of dragons, but now the shield seethes with Velgar's wrath.
The magic of the shield is twisted into a bitter poison. One that yearns to strike and rage against any in its path. In battle, it's possible to turn this poison on one's enemies, afflicting them with a dragon's hate.
Sometimes, in the dark, when the night is silent, it's as if the shield whispers angry curses into the darkness. As if the last vestiges of Velgar's fury are carried on the wind as hateful poison.
