Chaos is an attractive philosophy until you're the one organising guard and patrol rotations. Chaos gains a little asterisk: you need a little organisation to facilitate the chaos.
Those on guard rotation know that threats are just as likely to come from within than without. For this reason, veterans would advise newer knights to glue mirror to the back of their shield.
