Caratacus the Elder. Ah, footsteps. A traveller, I think. My wife chose this beautiful spot on the cliffs overlooking the sea. She said it would be the perfect place for a little wooden home. I always meant to build it for her, but time has made these old bones slow, and these eyes see nothing now. It’s a beautiful place. I can hear the waves from here. Would you help an old garou to build a home that my wife would be proud of? Be sure it covers me.

Caratacus the Elder. Ah, footsteps. Tell me... does the house stand yet on the cliffs? An old garou cannot build it alone. When the walls rise and the roof covers me, come speak to me.

Caratacus the Elder. Ah, footsteps. I can feel it; solace from the wind. The house... it stands now, doesn’t it? You’ve done an old garou a great kindness. Thank you, traveller.

Caractaus the Elder. I feel my wife's hand on my shoulder. I thought it was Death's at first, but it's not. It's her. I can sense her happiness. Her calm. I cannot thank you enough, traveller. Do you need something, traveller?

Caratacus the Elder. I remember when I first saw her. Someone had been stealing from our tribe. Taking meat and pelts. I was posted as guard. She was so noisy, I was surprised that no one had heard her steal from us before. Her eyes locked onto mine, but she didn't stop or run away. She continued to load herself with spoils while staring at me. She kept that look until her last days. I saw it whenever she snatched food from my plate. And that was often. Ah, Cliodhna. I still serve myself too much food. Always for you.
